Magic Elf



This could be the last year of Kaitlyn believing in Santa. SO I think it should be really special. I was just checking out some other blogs and found Magic Elf's. Busy. Busy.

My husband may not like that I am not working right now, but I really have quite a few things to keep me busy for the next few weeks. The first craft show went very good. So I have to get to work on making more purses. The OSU ones sold like hot cakes of course. I also have several orders for Christmas that need done.
I am also working on some memory quilts. A friend of mine's mom passed away this summer, so I am making a few quilts out of her clothes.

AND I have my first follower! I'm not talking to myself anymore.

Sick Day

While I was home yesterday I thought I would use up some fabric of my stash.

So I made this.

And then I made this. AND I LOVE IT!!

The fabric at the bottom is pockets all the way around the purse. I am currently using this style purse and I really like it.

I have a sick baby today. Well not really a baby but my baby. She has been up since 1:30 with a belly ache. By 2:00 she got sick. FINALLY it's 10:00 and she is sleeping. I am really hoping that when she wakes up she feels much better and I AM REALLLYYY HOPING I don't get it. I don't have time to be sick until next week.
I have purses to finish and a quilt to finish.

A New Start

Ok, let me try this blogging again. I am not good at writing so it may end up being alot of pictures. I love reading other blogs...... I just can't ever decide what to write about.

My life is so crazy busy right now with getting ready for a craft show. I even forgot my dads birthday on Monday. So I called him last night to tell him Happy Birthday. He was telling me that Monday he went to the Union Hall to fill out papers for retirement and had to ask what the date was. SO then I didn't feel so bad!


Here is a few things I have done for my craft show this Saturday. Pictures are not that great because I took them with my phone.

Ok so me blogging has been a real slow start, but I have found lots of other blogs to follow. I love to quilt and seeing some of the quilts that others are making I feel like a real rookie. So I plan to expand my squares that I normally quilt and try a few others that I have found.

In the mean time this is what I will be spending my week doing.

I am making raggy bags for a nursing home craft show. I have 4 done, and about 5 or 6 more that I want to get done.

We finally got our tree up too. Sunday we spent the day cleaning up the living room, moving couches alittle to squeeze a 8ft tree in our little room. (Because the pencil tree that I wanted was not what my hubby wanted.) The girls were going nuts all last week that the tree should be up already. Till I told them if they bugged me one more time we would be putting it up Christmas Eve. HAHA. I think I put 750 lights on it. I LOVE LIGHTS! There would have been more but one strand went out.

Ok well back to sewing.
